Installing a Carrier Infinity system. Is there any advantages using either an "A or "N" coil? Is one better/more reliable then the other?

Thanks

Are you in a high humidity area?

An A coil will typically be taller and require more space for installation.

An A coil is usually easier to clean as it has better access to all of the coil surface.

Not something that should cause you to lose any sleep.

But an N coil will be better in a high humidity area.

We use "N" coils on a lot of replacement systems that we do. The rationale is the dimensions you have to work with don't allow for the "A" coil. We prefer "A" coils because of the ease of future servicing.
We're a Carrier dealer and have installed Infinity systems with both. We haven't noticed any difference in performance from one to the other.
How's that?
