broken bacharach intech

hey guys, ive got a Bacharach intech.... it started showing

"replace sensors"
o2

so I ordered a replacement sensor. after installing it, it still shows the same fault.

what im wondering is, do I have to reset or recalibrate the meter? im thinking im missing something.

I got the same alarm. It has to do with the sensor date programmed.

After 1 year of sensor date, you will get a "02 sensor end of life" alert. I reset the date code on it.

To test to see if its good, turn on unit. Blow really hard until you almost pass out (not really) but really hard. The 02 reading should drop below 16%.

If you want to use your new sensor, you need to go in the calibration menu and setup the new sensor. Then the alert will go away
