I know its been a while, but I finally got a weekend with some free time and I've decided to make the next free BACnet app!

This one is aimed at simulating an MS/TP network in order to understand the approximate throughput of the network. It will also allow you to tweak network parameters and see the ramifications of each decision.

I wrote the gui today and hope to write the state machine tomorrow. Stay tuned. :-)

    It's done!

If anyone is interested in a tool that estimates (among other things) the number of points an OWS can poll from an MS/TP network every second, please check it out on this new thread.

    Hello,
The link doesn't work anymore, I'm realy interested in such a tool to synchronize my devices using BACnet/IP.

    Thanks

I'm unsure why the link went dead, but it is dropbox so I won't complain about a free service being glitchy... :-)

Here is a new link to the program, sorry for the confusion.

Thank you! that's exactly what I needed.

I keep it with my precious tools for BACnet.

    Best regards.

How about an app that just can display and configure BACnet schedules?

I was actually thinking of a BACnet file transfer program next, but your suggestion might have more merit.

    Hey BACNet,

I have a question for you, I'm unsure if this utility will be useable for our installed system.

I've run through the EPICS output from our BACNet device, and it looks like the only BIBB installed on the device for time management is "DM-UTC-B", which I believe leaves the UTC Time Sync under server control instead of "DM-UTC-A" which should be under client control.

Do you know if the app you built will still function with these parameters? I've not been successful in getting a time sync to work across our thermostats quite yet.

    Thanks in advance!

BACnet was banned many moons ago, don't expect a reply. If he is still monitoring this site he might contact a member to post an answer.

Oh shame. Well I don't have the utility working as it is, so it's a moot point. Thanks for following up, Kontrol.
