I have been trying to get new shirts for some time now.
The lady that used to make them is no longer around and a seems a lot of other smaller co. aren't interested in small orders, like 12 or so.
But not sure I can bear to see your fat gut hanging out in my company shirt anymore, so, we'll see.

Question for those who have attended in the past.

Is smoking permitted in these places?

If so, we will not be able to attend.

The legality of the substance being smoked isn't my concern.

It is my wife's health that is.

In all seriousness, I almost lost her to a severe bout of pneumonia brought on partly by exposure to cigarette smoke about 6 years ago and I will not risk that agian.

    Thank you.

There is a loophole to that law and that is why I'm asking.

The bar right down the road from me is a smoking establishment and I live in PA.

I have a real problem with being around smoking as well. I had no issues last year. Not only are the establishments non-smoking, there doors were propped open.

    JP,
Almost all of the nicer bars/resturants down here are non smoking. The dive bars might be smoking (and parts of the casino) but most of the places are non smoking.
The smoking ban is a joke.

If you only sell a very small certain percentage of food, or no food at all, you can allow smoking.
None of the bigger bars or establishments meet that requirement, only the smaller, local dives. Where we are at it will be all no smoking, my wife also hates smokey places.

If you are going to ban smoking in public places for health/whatever reasons, then do it everywhere with no exceptions.

You can't smoke in the stadiums (which are outside) but you can smoke in parts of the casino.

The loopholes are the part I consider to be a joke.

As a trying really hard to quit smoker, I am not against the ban. They just could have done things better.

The only one who got a loophole was the casino. They have a smoking section but the smoke permeates around.
Other than that I think its run pretty well.
We don't go to crappy little bars anyway.
