Attic with 1/2 bath -- minisplit?

I'm finishing the walk-up attic in my 1901 house in Kansas. Slate roof with blown-in insulation. About 300 sqft. finished space. Seems like a ductless minisplit would be perfect, but what about the small 1/2 bath. Will keeping the door open a bit when not in use work or do I need a duct system to supply both rooms.

    Thanks much for your input.

You should be fine with the door being left open in the bathroom. By the way what part of Kansas are you located?

I'm in Lawrence. Thanks for the help. It should be interesting to see if the two bids in process also like the minisplit idea.

    Yep,mini split.
And if you have a little under cut on the door. When the door is closed, and the exhaust fan is running, it will pull conditioned air in, while someone is using the bathroom.
    So should be no problem.
