Trane rauc 402-A New run capacitors but still not running. HELP

Not sure on the tonnage I’m pretty sure it’s a 4 ton to be clear. But have replaced 2 run capacitors to compressor and to fan as well. Came on once and fails to do so anymore. Would like to replace contacter too since no power is passing thru when calling for cooling. What type of contactor do you guys recommend, also any other possible issues?

Checked continuity on the compressor windings, checked voltage to everywhere, only seeing 230 hit the contacter and nothing coming out the other side.

We are not going to be able to assist you, being that this a non-DIY site.

    Can you blame him?

Let's give people a chance. He might just be a green tech, and if so we need to try and help him within reason. I'll move the thread if that's the case.

That's still no reason to be rude. I'm about to start taking member's * away if this continues.

This is a mid to late 1970's unit, and it's rated at 4 tons.

So I am guessing you also had 24 volts to the low voltage side of the contactor, but it would not engage?

What does the caps have to do with the contactor pulling in?
You should research the make and model of the compressor and find out What cap is recommended.
