    Go figure.

Is there water in the vaporizer pan when he's measuring the LL temp before the valve?

Also when measuring evaporator SH the top panel needs to be in place so air is being forced through the coil.

Measuring with the top off could give an inaccurate reading.

    Looks like a simple unit.

If it worked before it should work now.

What about a pump down test to see if the valves are leaking by?

With no liquid valve how about a compressor performance check?

Try closing the x valve a half turn. Now what is all your temps and psi's?

No water in pan. And top is on. I’m thinking I evacuate the unit and do a pump down

    The opposite
    6 x 10 needs at the least 5,000 BTU closer to 6

Yes try evacuating and changing the fd/ adding a MISG.

Weigh in fresh gas. Did you try adjusting the valve at all?

Ya know, just to try to get a lower SST?

How about seeing if the bulb reacts to temperature change(if there is a remote bulb).

Or to simply see if the valve modulates when adjusted?

If you knew the reading, then that would help but we Don't know so look thru it. You should see clearly through the coil. If you can't wash it out.

Go to the Emerson site and download the performance curve for that pump.

Or download the Mobil App and run the #'s
