Odd flame sense current readings
I was wondering if anybody else has seen when they’ve tried to get a current reading on their flame sensor the value jumping around between 12 and zero rapidly and anywhere in between.

Loose ground connection. Could be. That’s the only time I’ve seen that. 12 is quite high though.

If board has a electronic digital segment display, signal will be scrambled like you see. Look in the manual and find the way to check your flame signal through the board. Is it a Lennox unit?

If I remember correctly it was a Lennox and did have a segment display. How would you go about checking flame sensor current on a single rod system?

Do you happen to remember the model number of this Lennox furnace?
