    Smartphone anemometer

I’m interested in getting one of those not too dial in accurately but to do rough measurement like I would with an ir temp gun. Wondering if anybody recommends a brand and what kind of Cfm rating it may work with. Thanks

I’ve got the testo and like it but would definitely recommend hot wire (however I know you said you’re not too worried about accuracy).

I've played around with this a pretty long time now, and like it. A little tricky to get the hang of traversing, but after that it's ok. I'd like to test it against a hot wire and the almighty (and pricey) Tru Flow Grid.

If I do a job in 30 minutes it's because I spent 30 years learning how to do that in 30 minutes. You owe me for the years, not the minutes.

There is a flow hood that goes with that vane anemometer.

    Super curious about this.
