Water Heater Thermostat Needs Frequent Adjustment
Over the last year I have had to adjust the thermostat a small amount in the warmer direction every month or so on my 22-year-old State Select gas water heater to keep the water temperature around 120 degrees at the nearest faucet. There is still quite a ways to go before I have turned it all the way counter-clockwise to the hottest setting, but the trend is clear. Is this likely to be a symptom of something I need to call in a pro to deal with in the near future? Thanks

Control is failing, hard water deposits have built up, and/or dip tube is bad.
Time for a new tank or tankless.

Nest is POO!!
