At this point, I'm just seeing double post from different members in the AOP forum, and a Pro's comment on it in the Pro Residential forum.

The forum seems extremely slow on my end.
My internet is as quick as always but I am getting loading symbol for 20+ seconds when I hit the reply button or submit button. I am on Android using Tapatalk and I don't see any double posts on my end but uploading my comments is painfully slow and that always seems to be when others are having trouble with double posts.

I've deleted duplicates in several forums. At times, site is slow, particularly when posting. It seemed better after server was restarted, but is still problematic.
Here's the latest dupe I found. Haven't deleted it.
Once we make a post, it usually posts very quickly. Lately the site has been slow, very slow, so instinctively we hit "post reply" again, which creates the double post.
These past couple of days or so I have learned to look at the little spinny ball. If it is spinning, then I know not to hit Post Reply again.
So the origin ofthe double posts lately is the posts taking forever to post. That is where the attention should go to solve this problem.
I do a triple evac with nitro to remove non condensables.
I am attaching my laptop specs. I am running on Microsoft Edge currently.
And when I hit the REPLY button when I wish to post a thread my computer just sets there and nothing happens for sometimes minutes. I then copy my thread and hit the back button on my browser and before it will let me go back I get a courtesy message from the site asking to LEAVE or CANCEL, I hit LEAVE and then when I come back to the thread it has posted my reply twice.
Not doing it now, but just did it in the PRO Commercial when I was talking about the Mammoth unit Chops is working on. And tried to do it just recently on one in the open forum where someone is looking for some Simplicity software.

If you click cancel instead of leave and then reload the page it will post without the double post

Years ago I got paranoid about that. So I'd always make a copy of my post. But I've learned all you have to do is hit leave and then the post will post.
