    Group Purchase Orgs for HVAC?

Hi all, are any of you using group purchase organizations to negotiate better pricing on your units and replacement parts?

I'm sure that the private equity backed players are negotiating lower costs (I've heard up to 30%) and getting more guaranteed delivery dates during stockouts.

Curious if anyone can recommend a good organization to join.

Not selling anything. Genuinely curious if any of you are using Group purchase organizations.

They're very common in other industries, are typically free to join, and credit rebates from suppliers back to the network. Very popular in health care and pharmaceuticals. Haven't found any tackling hvac components.

    Kinda like farmers co-op?
Can someone please explain to me -
Why is there never enough time to do it right the first time, but plenty of time to do it twice?

Sounds like a good idea. When the supermarkets first appeared, grocers joined together and created the IGA. International Grocers Alliance or something like that.
I would hope the fees wouldn't be a problem for small contractors.
