DEF shortage???
There is now a shortage on DEF(Diesel Exhaust Fluid). That means everything will be in short supply if we can't move our rigs because the stupid emissions will say no go. My trucks are pre DEF so I can still work but newer diesels('12 and newer) require it. That goes for the big rigs, trains, personal trucks... things are getting fun.

One of the reasons I’m reluctant to let go of my pre emissions Duramax.

Yeah been paying attention to Def for a couple weeks now.
I don't run diesel anymore because of how scary expensive the repairs are

Haven't seen anything on the East Coast. But I get mine delivered in a 55 gallon drum. Much cheaper.
If you know someone involved with school district transportation, see if they have a source.
If I do a job in 30 minutes it's because I spent 30 years learning how to do that in 30 minutes. You owe me for the years, not the minutes.

It looks like at least most long distance trains don't use DEF unless I was reading a bad source they were able to meet tier 4 emissions without DEF.

I'm tired of these mediocre "semi flammable" refrigerants. If we're going to do it let's do it right.
Unless we change direction we are likely to end up where we are going.

DEF is mostly urea, I'm sure you could replace it with your own pee
