    Arkansas licensed contractor needed

We are a licensed HVAC company in Texas, I have been licensed here since 1998. Before accepting a Starbucks job that fell on our lap (ductwork only) we are looking for a Licensed contractor there to pull a permit and allow us to work as a sub contractor under neath your license. Also would need you to wallk job and approve the install before calling in the inspection. We are willing to pay you whatever your rate is for this service. Can anyone point me in the right direction. We are also possibly interested in buying out a small mom and pop shop if it comes with license, for we plan on doing a lot of residential service there as well coming up real soon.

Moved this out of the AOP forum where homeowners ask their questions.

Generally you wont actually save any money buying as a consumer. Keep in mind that most contractors have trade accounts that if you CAN find someone willing to sell to you as a retail consumer, will charge you a retail price, whereas the contractor will have a wholesale price based on the amount of sales they do, this allows them to charge a markup on the equipment to cover the time to source/supply it etc. Also you run into issues if you supply all the equipment the contractor will likely not support you for any warranty claims, you'll have to file directly with the manufacturer and they may not accept your claim as you are not a licensed hvac installer.

If a dude is planning on working in a nieghboring state or even just starting a business why not just get the the dang license needed ?
The guy that posted all those licenses needs to remember that my State ,Texas , requires the license holder to be active in the business and not just renting out the license. Not saying it doesn't happen it just gets expensive if found out.
