    So , on a Pizza Oven Y600

customers said the pilot going strong , but when he turned up the thermostat the flames came on for a few seconds then went out

So .... how do you figure out if the Safety is stopping the gas .... or if the thermostat is not opening .... when there are no ports for a manometer for testing

Are you watching the pilot? On deck ovens, I've seen the main flame pull the pilot away from the thermocouple (or thermopile). Or main flame pulls bulk of the gas to main burner with pilot not getting enough. Sure there is no port for manometer? Is vent of regulator covered in grease?

So I get there and my Spidy senses tell me the thermocouple is weak ... and im like ... no way

    So i try replacing it

    Get this

I loosen the nut and I hear Gas coming out of the hole where the thermocouple screws into the safety !!

Robertshaw TS11J or whatever it is ....

    Never seen that before !

Im like , its almost lunch time , im gonna keep going

I throw on a new thermocouple , and she works just fine
