    Plumber busting out the concrete

Clocked out at 3:15. Get a call at 5:30. Plumber struck the main for the restaurant next door. It needs to be up asap. I call my wife to bring me my service bag and get our daughter, then head down. They struck the pipe 4 times on 3 phase power initial hit shorted out leg to leg and blew the 125A fuses. Couldn't get it fixed at 8 at night without a major supply run and massive down time. So we did a half arsed splice through the night to get the fridge and freezer running again. Headed back now...
Yes it is to shallow but its existing and we're just doing a "repair". Patch the pipe and pull new wires. 150 ft from end to end

    That sucks !
I can't believe that someone would just throw the PVC Conduit on the dirt and pour a slab over it.
Well, if I think about it , I guess I can believe it.
If sense were so common everyone would have it !

Shame there's no picture of the plumber's face when he shorted the legs.
Use the biggest hammer you like, pounding a square peg into a round hole does not equal a proper fit.

The best part is they tried to keep going like nothing ever happened.

Actually, the restraunt said they are only allowing us to do the work Sunday-Tuesday after hours. So the other site is closed until the repairs are made and the new tenant agrees to our price. We shall see what comes of it... or how long it takes.
