Unable to edit posts
I originated a post earlier today and would like to edit it but am unable to.
The text at the bottom of that page shows my permissions and indicates that I should be able to update it even though no Edit button appears. However, a site FAQ suggests that post editing may be time-restricted.
Should I be able to edit the post?

No, after a certain length of time the edit feature times out. If you need an edit after that, report the post and tell a mod what you need.

Post editing is time restrictive. Why not respond to your own post with the edit?

It's 30 minutes...an hour would be great.
Alot of times when I am responding in more than one thread at a time..I miss the edit time by a few minutes..then the auto fill errors are there to stay.
