    I had 4 brand new leaking OD coils, and 2 new leaking ID coils on my Rheem stuff this past Summer. No real issues with the furnaces, small stuff like the way some of the pressure switches were mounted, kinked tubing, etc......

    Beasts indeed. My two tone green Rheems (both furnace and outdoor unit installed in 1984) are still running strong, although I've replaced nearly every electrical part in both (other than the fan motors) over the years and replaced the heat exchanger in 1999. Not the most efficient units, though. I think the outdoor unit is 9 SEER.

    Ya know i have no idea? It was a PITA to swap and thats about all I looked at. Verified my new was 3 phase and would fit then it was shackle up and yank out.

    Aside from the wool blanket playing hide and go seek the evap coil you also have the not so easy to see rusted out base that was allowing air in and out. Well. Whenever it last worked...
