    Ammonia/rink training

I was wondering if anyone is aware of any good ammonia system or rink training courses available online or even anywhere in Canada. I have 10 years as a refrigeration journeyman, but I’ve never touched ammonia. My employer is willing to pay to train. Thoughts?

RSES has some good literature on ammonia.
    Points:
    Not compatible with copper
    All open drives
    Not miscible with oil
    Toxic
    Neutralize by discharging under water

One old timer I worked with was working at an ice plant, connect a hose and discharged down a hill to a ditch, train tracks along side. Little while later a train came barely chugging by and hit the gas cloud. Wheels started spinning and sparks a flying...

Another went into a barber shop after working at a cold storage all day. Hung his coat in the sun by the door. Within a few minutes had to evacuate the barber shop...
