    Imperial Kwik charge

I have to charge a reach in cooler with 404a. I was planning on using a kwik charge adapter just to be sure no liquid enters the compressor. I see on the box for the Kwik charge that it will work on all units 1/2 ton or larger, does this mean that the device won't work as intended when using it on small appliances?

47 years charging liquid. Haven’t killed one YET!

    Besides what are we talking 8, 10, 14 oz’s?

I use the yellow jacket charging orifice because I find it convenient and they're cheap. Its certainly not required but I like to keep one on my 410a tank.
If you're charging from a vacuum you can just add it to the high side and you don't need any kind of restriction. Most times I'm able to get the full charge into the high side as long as my tanks good and warm.

I'm tired of these mediocre "semi flammable" refrigerants. If we're going to do it let's do it right.
Unless we change direction we are likely to end up where we are going.
