Carrier rubber smell

I had a new Carrier HVAC system installed 4 months ago. There was a strong rubber smell which I thought would dissipate in time. However, my house smells like tires, especially when the AC is on. Has anyone else experienced this problem?

Is there a compressor in your indoor unit that has a compressor blanket on it? I’ve had problems with those lately, could be a similar issue
