I have a recipe for "Browned Butter Bourbon" cookies. I made them several times then adjusted the recipe by doubling the spices and bourbon. Much better.

That looks good.
Grandma used to make molasses cookies that I just loved, can't find the recipe for them.

My grandma banned us from eating sugar but my wife makes some phenomenal molasses cookies. They have chopped candied ginger and a lot of spices they are so good. Now you're making me want to have her make them even though we're trying to avoid eating too much sweets.

I'm tired of these mediocre "semi flammable" refrigerants. If we're going to do it let's do it right.
Unless we change direction we are likely to end up where we are going.

I hear you. A lot of time we will make a double batch of cookies then put most of them in the freezer so we don't eat them all at once so we can maintain some kind of healthy weight. The funny thing is we found that we like most of these cookies better out of the freezer than when they sit out in a container.

This is the recipe I used.
Google Browned Butter Bourbon Cookies. Then you have to learn how to brown the butter. Then after you make them a few times so you got the hang of it double the spices and add another tablespoon of bourbon. Bake as usual.
Done.

Was at a graduation party and they had some mini chocolate chip cookies Kirkland brand.
Thought they where pretty darn good for a cookie out of a bag.

Kirkland makes some pretty good stuff, but some not so much. I always wonder how much of it is just repackaged some other brand.

If I had to guess I'd say all of it.

I haven't had any but they are being compared to Tate's Bake Shop which seem to have a following. Some think they might be baking them for Kirkland IDK

It's a crunchy cookie which I don't usually like.
