    Missing ground wire, Is it needed?

    Hi, a tech came in fixed stuff. All is working now but he did remove the ground wire from the burner chassis box. If you see the pic attached, in the top left I circled in red where there was on a green ground wire attached. The other areas where I put a blue check Mark are where other grounds are located. Can I leave it and be safe or should a ground be attached?

    You won't be able to post a picture until you have a certain number of posts.
    Without seeing it is hard to know but does it work?
    Your description doesn't sound like a safety ground but more likely a bonding strap that was electrically tying two parts together and if so it is probably not a safety hazard but could potentially cause issues with the furnace operation.
