    Scotsman guys , is this ok ?

    Frosted hot gas pipe

    Call was code 8 , so I let it run and sure enough ...it ran for 10 min and dripped thin ice ...so I cleaned ice sensor and it began making normal ice

    But it looks like the HGV is leaking by

    If it was leaking by there would be NO frost. That frost is coming from the outlet of the valve.

    Ok now im off work ....

    Why do you suppose frost is forming on that line ?

    Its in ICE mode about 15 min in

    Conduction.

    If it was leaking buy it wouldn’t frost. Hot gas on the other side of the valve not Liquid!

    I like cleaning Ice Machines. Nice easy job ( that takes quite a bit of time) . I work for a hospital so I can take the time to do it right. In the field it it hard to get paid to do a correct cleaning ( too much time) . The issue I end up with is going behind a guy that did not do it right and the ice sensors ( like the manitowic) are so bad that by the time you get them cleaned right they end up early harvesting on you. It a issues on them anyway, but more so if it is in very dirty/bad shape.
