    Nasty.

I saw this all on one service call.
The coil was nasty that pile of junk in my hand is just what I could peel off of the evaporator coil with my bare hands. (I think I need to buy some gloves. ) The service caps were so over tightened that one fragmented and they left deep grooves in the surface of the flare.
Also the indoor blower motor required a 15 microfarad capacitor and the previous technician took two 10 microfarad capacitors and hook them in series which made it a 5 microfarad capacitor so that was a contributing factor to the low air flow.
I don't know if the system will run for much longer because when I connected my gauges the refrigerant stunk.

I have been in couple of houses, that there was so much smoke tar, it was running down the walls, looked like some sprayed the walls with syrup

I have a very happy customer. He called the guy who referred me and gave me a 10 star review. I am happy.

The crazy thing is that was not a dirty house and he changes his filter monthly. The only problem is he uses the spun glass filters.

He has one. I showed him how to pull out the 1-in adapter rails and told him to go down to locke supply and buy some real filters.
