Is refrigerant level sensor calibration required as part of annual shutdown maintena?

During my York Chiller annual shutdown maintenance, is it required to recalibrate the refrigerant level sensor?

Depending on what chiller you have, you may not be able to calibrate the FULL setpoint. You can double check the EMPTY setpoint but most of the time that doesn’t really change.

Thanks for responding. Recently my York chiller went through an annual shutdown maintenance. And right after that, the chiller kept tripping on the following faults
    1) Discharge superheat overload fault
    2) Low discharge superheat detected
    3) Evaporator- Low Pressure

This is why I am asking. I wonder if it is the refrigerant level control valve that is faulty or it is because a refrigerant level sensor recalibration was not done.
