HVAC Investment Group Looking to Buy HVAC & Plumbing Businesses

I would like to first note that I am not a business broker (confirmed with Dad) but rather the Founder of an investment group with industry experience looking to purchase businesses in the Residential HVAC and Pluming Industry. Our interests are in purchasing businesses generating $1M + in annual revenue with most; if not all, coming from service and replacement billings as we prefer to minimize our exposure to new construction.

Here comes another corporation who's hoping to make money off the backs of the working people who are the real one's actually providing service; Driving up costs to middle class families and effectively transferring their hard earned wealth over to the top 1%. We've seen in the US our poverty rates skyrocket over the last 20 years while the rich live in the most obscene luxury imaginable. The stress this has caused to working American's has lead to an increase in violent extremism and even domestic terrorism. Again it would depend on the individual, his/her goals, etc. If the individual wanted to to sell and walk away in a few years then that individual may be asked to stay on as an employee (General Manager for example). If it makes sense to the rest of the Group to invite that individual to join the Board then that may be an option as well. Unfortunately I can not provide a specific answer without knowing all of the details and about the individual. Without giving too much away the short answer is yes; individuals in our group have or have had experience as owner operator, technician, consulting, turnaround, former executive of a larger service company, supply chain management to commercial and residential OEMs, etc all within the HVAC & Plumbing Industry.
