    Good call

Had a furnace that would overheat in 2nd stage and would reset the ecobee stat every time it overheated for like 10 minutes.
    Tesp was around 1.1 inwc
Static between the filter and the return drop elbow was .6 to .7 inwc!
Put in a trane cleaneffects and now my tesp is .4 inwc
Not the most impressive job in the world but I was pleasantly surprised with the impact of what I did and figured I'd share it since the wall of pride has been dead lately
Wish the apprentice didn't pucky the pittsburgh joints though!

I am impressed. I would not have guessed thst that was an improvement.

I'm tired of these mediocre "semi flammable" refrigerants. If we're going to do it let's do it right.
Unless we change direction we are likely to end up where we are going.

It won't be after a month. OP, make sure the customer knows those things are very maintenance dependant.

Good job! On my end, I never put the AH on the ground and have it on a 18-24” tall casket (matched to the AH size) with 4” solid concrete block with 4x4 vibration isolators on it. I get the full return airflow that way from under the unit...every little bit helps..

I’ve seen plenty of flooded homes as well over the years..that’s why I don’t leave them on the floors to give them a better “survival” chance..

Oh the furnace was exsisting, I quoted replacements but the customer just wanted to fix the airflow issue. The before picture makes it look like a different furnace I suppose haha

Good looking job. I think the improvement was from the difference at the elbow not the TCE. I have installed around a dozen TCE and have not been impressed. I see more dust in the blower compartment with the TCE than the Aprilaire that was in there before.

Getting away from that elbow was the saving grace in my opinion. Sold the CE because of what they claim to do have only done a couple because of the cost of them so time will tell for me how they hold up
