Stand alone air purifier

Have a customer that's a breast cancer survivor with one lung. She has hot water baseboard and split system a/c. She has asked me for a recommendation in reference to a stand alone air purifier. Either for a bedroom, or whole house if available. Any advice would be appreciated.

We began installing AirScrubbers at the beginning of the year, and have had positive feedback from our customers. It is recommended to air filters more frequently due to the Airscrubber causing dust and dirt particles to build up more in the beginning. They also offer stand alone units for room-specific set-ups instead of being installed into the duct work like standard air cleaners. Hope this helps!

I usually direct people to Consumer Reports. Each year they review portable air purifiers: https://www.consumerreports.org/air-...s-of-the-year/

It's important to note that Consumer Reports only evaluated particle removal. Any air cleaner with activated carbon will help remove many VOCs and other gases.
