    New air.

anyone ever dealt with these units? Pretty typical chinese stuff. However the freezer I'm working on has an embraco compressor that is apparently NOT for north American equipment.
That means I can't even source start components locally.

Is this a residential beverage cooler? If so, don't you just throw those away and buy a new one? I mean by the time you do the leg work sourcing parts, pick up the parts, drive to the customer's location and do the labor to install the parts, you've into it for $300-$400 aren't you?

That’s clear. Did you find the starting components?

Not ideal, but if you can't find anything else, the Supco URCO series fractional HP universal start components that come with start capacitors are on the shelf here.

In the end we replaced a compressor under warranty.
These embraco compressors aren't sold by my local embraco dealer.
They are only available from the importer out on the coast.
So a 3 day wait on parts.
I guess the customer got a great deal....
