It trips during run conditions, a little oil on fry side, maybe a 16th or 8th glass

There has been issues with oil coolers. Also does the unit unload fully during operation? Glide ring on shaft is another place oil escapes to evap

Eductors working?Had sight glasses in ours to watch.
Running long time at low load usually was our culprit though.

I remember a green letter from long ago about some oil separators you just could not run below 30% FLA . I think they were on S2 compressor bodies.

I have a hard time believing that you are oil logged at 45F discharge superheat. Some oil, sure but not severely. Any oil in your secondary oil separator aight glass would indicate a dirty filter in the secondary oil separator drain line. That’s probably where your missing oil is.

    Is the eductor actually working?

You can pinch the liquid line valve back a bit at full load to get the oil back quicker.

    Have had similar Issues.

Eductor Block Jet Pump Pistons get stuck if the oil isn't maintained correctly.

They run around $1200 new make sure you look at your compressor number because there is more then one style block.

See the Brass Piston in the image below the lower Piston is stuck and even with a press we couldn't remove it. This is the S0 Block
