    Condenser feeder sizing

I need to wire up a sub panel for two condensers and the electrician put 8/2 romex for feeder I can’t for the life of me find the formula for calculating if this is enough for two identical condensers with a MOCP of 30amps
and a minimum circuit ampacity of 18.7
With a RLA 14.1 amps and a FLA of 77

8/2 romex (60 deg conductor) would be placed on 40amp breaker in the main panel to the sub.

Each condenser would be wired using 12 gauge conductor and each having a 30a breaker per article 440 of nec.
