    Creation of Niagara 4 module

    Hi guys how are you?
I hope you can help me, I am looking to transform some java classes into modules that I can see inside Niagara 4, but I have not found any documentation about it.

    Thanks for listening

Thanks, for the tip, but my doubt remains, I create the module in the wizard, I open in eclipse I create the java class and export it to jar and even then, the file does not appear in modules, I think I'm missing something.

    Did you look here:

    https://www.niagara-community.com/ar...and-Components

it walks you through how to create a module and install the Niagara Plugin for Eclipse.

Thanks for the link, been looking for some information on this myself. Everything i read about the eclipse plugin mentions 3.8, is it the same plugin used for N4 ?

I do not believe it has changed for N4 but my understanding from when I attended the developer course that a majority of the Niagara developers at Tridium are now using IntelliJ which does not have a plugin.

Thanks for the link, I was using this material, I am also not using the plug-in, no material is necessary to do the full build, I think that is exactly what is causing my problem, as I do a full build without a plugin, there is any command on N4 for that?

Thanks, guys, I found out that I need to create the module in niagara and open it in eclipse with a gradle project instead of a java project to access the build function

I too am now trying to figure this out. Can anyone re-cap what is required to get this working? The documentation is very lacking with respect to N4.

    Hello Guys...
Are there any tutorials available for developing jar modules for N4? What tools do I need along with N4?
    Thanks in advance!!

You will need to download IntelliJ IDEA and then start with this github repository:
    https://github.com/tridium/summit18-...ev-environment

I would also register with Tridium to access documentation, although it is outdated (uses Eclipse IDE and plugin instead of IntelliJ):
