Dear all,

Could you please advise which would you recommend. I'm looking at replacing my 15 year old McQuay PDNS hydronic PTAC unit with either Ice Air RSAN or the Daikin Applied Comfort (New Yorker style AC) PTAC unit (12700 or 12600 BTU). I'm only interested in these two brands. Just want to know which is more reliable/wouldn't break down and maybe silent but not as important. Looking at setting it up with a wireless thermostat.

Thank you in advance for any responses and suggestions and best wishes for 2020!

Ice Air looks to be a private owned company out of New York? Comes with a one year parts warranty. Do not know if they offer a extended parts/labor warranty.

Applied Comfort looks to be a private company also, based in Canada? Comes with a base one year parts warranty, but looks like you can purchase a 6 year extended parts and labor warranty.
