    Hope your flexible

Guess service access was never factored in.

Thank goodness it was an easy quick fix.

If I do a job in 30 minutes it's because I spent 30 years learning how to do that in 30 minutes. You owe me for the years, not the minutes.

Had to move 50lbs of crap to get to it. Notice the foot print on the burner cover...Nice! Guess that's how you get to the overhead storage. Told them the next time I come back I'm repiping the boiler and the exp tank. Moving it up to the ceiling w/proper air eliminator. Can't properly clean the boiler as it is now.
I'll tell you who installs stuff like this...plumber's and/or people who are never coming back for service.

Oh, you have to get to the furnace? I didn’t know. No one at your office told me that. Hold on I’ve got to move 15 years worth of old clothes, decorations, and boxes out of the way. And that’s just to gain access to the scuttle hole in the closet which is above bolted in shelving. You’ll also need to bring in your ladder to this 3rd floor closet to get up there. I still can’t believe you guys charge that much just for a service call.

One of the other problem, along with the difficulty to service is the fact that due to the difficulty if has probably never been service correctly.

I will bet that heat exchanger is pretty dirty.
Can someone please explain to me -
Why is there never enough time to do it right the first time, but plenty of time to do it twice?

First I thought I had been in that closet, then I noticed the return duct was not in the way. I had an apartment I use to have to do work for. You open the closet door to the furnace at this one apartment and the return duct came into the door opening, then the air handler faced into the water heater like in the first picture. We had to remove the return duct so the plumber could remove the water heater so we could change the blower motor.

I bet it would have been fun watching the Three Stooges install this stuff.

I remember that video. I used to laugh so hard watching them. Classic humor.
