    New Home Construction

Hello, and thanks in advance. Should new home wireing setup have a whole-home surge protector or is that what the electrical pannel does? Also, if you have any suggestions on what you would do during construction, they would be greatly appreciated. It will be a downsized small home with smart tech. Thanks, D

The breaker panel does not include surge protection. That is an add-on device.

The surge protection does not provided by electrical panel.. You have to do the internal wiring and attach with it surge protection wires. The suggestion is to hire a professional so it should be done properly.
