Confused Daikin VRV IV System comms error after power loss

    Hi All,

We have 5 Daikin VRV systems installed and were fully commissioned and working before Christmas. Then 3 weeks ago there was a fire trip on the system unexpectedly and all power was lost to site. When power was restored majority of the VRV systems recovered and began normal operation. There were two that did not restore to normal function and instead showed a comms error on the central controller (itouch manager). The power was cycled off and on again in the hope that both of these units would regain normal function. One of them did, but the other did not and hasnt since that day. All cabling and electrical/comms connections to each indoor, condenser and branch box were inspected and were deemed to be correct and in working order.

Has someone seen this before? Any help would be appreciated.

Let me know if you need more information.

If these units were installed in December you should call the installing contractor to check the units in question. If they were installed before this and no longer under warranty then you should call a local company to check it.
