Tranes and carriers are 90%+ of what I see commercially. The ones I consider young are anything from 2000-on, lots still from the 90s, smattering from the 80s. And two 25 ton units I found from the probably early 70s. Those two are in my personal care. Most are several compressors from the original. Seen building owners spend 2x-3x the price of a new unit, on all their repairs over the years. Does that qualify as reliable? Honestly, I dont know if it counts, because as long as you can get parts for it their going to fix it. Mentioning replacement is usually like peeing into the wind
