I got that for a while last summer I believe. After a while I think I ignored it. I have a mac so I am less worried about those things.
There is only one truly right way to do something, but there are thousands of wrong ways to varying degrees to do it.
So the question is: If you don't do it right, then how wrong is it going to be???

If it is your antivirus software you can make exceptions. Or at least that was the way it was when I was using windows.

I use Firefox and my browser doesn't have any issues with http or https links. Version 53.0

The reason I say log out is to refresh your site cookie. The greater percentage of issues are caused by a corrupted site cookie. If that doesn't fix it and there are no other complaints then it must be on the users end. Your browser refreshing is of course a browser issue. I wish I knew more about the inner workings of browsers.

I'm here everyday most all day long and can usually feel when the site is mucked up. The only issue that we have right now are the Korean spammers still sneaking in from time to time.

Yeah... I may sound like a broken record but we get rid of the most common causes and work our way outside the box.

I also have version 53 firefox. I have enabled (allowed) cookies from this site, but the warning about login not being secure still happens, could it be due to the browser being in private mode?

I'm running a vanilla, plain jane copy of Firefox with the exception of the Ghostery add on. I don't have any cookies or http or https in the allowed list. Mine still works fine.

My IT guy is off for a few days after hand surgery. Maybe he will see this and help us if he can.

Its not a really a big deal, it has not kicked me off since I allowed cookies from this site, the other warning may be IT on this corporate PC I am using. Thank you for your response.
