Yea there probably isn't a manual but seems odd you can't read SH and SC at the same time.
    Got a screenshot?
    Original app or pro/r app?

With the pro/r app you are supposed to be able to see multiple SH and SC at once

First screen shows your probes with no relevant info besides pressure, and temp

Can only choose one of these at a time, or so it seems

Can you run the new probes on the old app?

    Here's one from Sporlan
Do you see any options under the "calculate" tab?

    I see a + mark

Do you have two temp sensors?

    OK
Still waiting on second temp probe.
I thought that I would still be able to see my high side saturation while viewing my superheat on the same page.
I guess it is a little different than I'm used to, or expected.

So a question a couple of guys want to know.

Can you calculate and display at the same time multiple SH off one pressure sensor if you have multiple temp sensors?

This is what I was expecting..... Why such a drastic downgrade on the newer app???

I've been asking for a simple list like this pro/r app for a long time.

The old sensors are compatible with the pro/r app have you tried the new sensors with the old app that you like better?

    The sensors won't link.
Maybe something I'm doing wrong, but I sure would prefer the other app

    You can do that.
Enable a mock temperature sensor in the settings, then add a subcool calculation using your actual high pressure sensor, and the mock temperature sensor.

The "downgrade" is so you can configure multiple sets of different calculations using a variety of combinations of sensors.

    That sounds handy

Could anyone elaborate on the steps to set that up?

To set up multiple Superheat Calculations and share the same pressure sensor, have your sensors turned on and go to the "Calculate" tab at bottom task bar. Then tap the "+" symbol in upper right corner to add a calculation (choose Superheat). The app will automatically offer the sensors that you have powered on and within range. Once you choose the temperature sensor, the app will offer the available pressure sensors. Choose one and then tap "Save". This calculation will then be added to the list. You can then go back and add another Superheat calculation, this time choosing a different temp sensor, but the same pressure sensor. Select "Save" and you will now have two Superheat calculations in your list. The list can continue to grow by adding Subcooling, Delta T, and Delta P calculations. The list can also be rearranged to your liking by tapping "Edit".

The new SMART Pro/R app will work with the original SMART sensors and of course the new SMART Pro/R sensors. The original SMART app is not compatible with the newer SMART Pro/R sensors. Different Bluetooth technology is being used with the new sensors to enable much longer range of communication and sharing sensor data with other technicians simultaneously. The new app is certainly capable of displaying multiple sensors and calculations simultaneously. However, due to the extremely low usage of the simulated analog display on the original mobile app, we chose to go digital only on the SMART Pro/R app. This offers many more pieces of data on one screen while remaining legible.

That is cool. Love the customizable options. Can a user give a name to sensors to identify them?

When a new sensor is turned on, it needs to be cofigured with a simple number such as “T1” or“T2” for a temperature sensor. Similarly it would be“LP1” or LP2” for a low pressure sensor, etc. When the new sensor is turned on, a new sensor indication will be shown in the app sensor screen. Touch this indication to configure. Once cofigured, any mobile device that has the SMART Pro/R Service Tool app will be able to view that sensor with its given name.To change the cofigured name, use the sensor setup screen accessible in the app settings.

I've been using them for over a year, and completely forgot that there was even an option for a simulated analog display.
I'm not sure why anyone would even want it, but I started dabbling in digital gauges in 1996, and haven't use an analogue refrigerant gauge since 2005.
Even my recovery/burnout gauges are digital.

Other than for recovering refrigerant, I barely ever even use a manifold anymore.
I have used a vacuum tree on my pump since 2006, and have been seriously considering building a "recovery tree" for my recovery machine.
