They make a timer for this situation. Of course it loses the time with power outage and would need to be reset, so stay would be better in that case.
Installing aprilaire duhum with fresh air intake damper. I dont want to bring in outside air between 11pm and 4am beacuse of the amount of pollen in the air at night so im gonna use a programmable stat to control the damper motor. Has anyone done this? Know of a better way? Thoughts?

Consider the more efficient ULtra-Aire dehumidifier with the DEH 3000 control. This timer will bring in air on any schedule you want. Also the merv 11 air filters will trap all pollen and mold spores in the indoor and outdoor air stream.
Another key feature is being able to operate fresh air ventilation and dehumidification independent of the a/c air handler blower. Ultra-Aire is also a site sponor and the support would be appreciated.
Most suggest fresh when the home is occupied and avoid loads when home is unoccupied.
Hope this helps.

does the deh 3000 need to be purchased separately? I actually called Ultra Aire and was told it can only be set for timed intervals not by times. I am concerned with the 1 year parts when aprilaire has 5yr. Also warranty claims is an issue as DSG in my area is unfamiliar your product. Is there a better way to handle these issues? Your knowledge and availability is a big advantage over the competition so I would be interested in offering your line in the future. I am going to stick with aprilaire for a bit, if I sell 1 more by the end of the year I get 1 for $100 for personal use.
