Bard has been around a long time. Eubanks has only been marketing under that name for about 10 years. Just by shear numbers in the market Bard would have a better rating. I've seen 100 Bard for every 1 Eubanks. With respect to wall mounted units, construction and ability to work on them they are about the same

 

Putting in a Eubanks on Wednesday to replace a 30 year old Marvair. Eubanks was the only thing available to us with school starting in a week. It is wider than the original Marvair. So, it looks like we will be doing some framing work as well.
