Hello all. New to the forum and had a few questions about my Mitsubishi MSZ/MUZ FE 18,000 btu heat pump. It is the unit capable of heat down to -13. Had the unit installed last year before the brutal cold winter (northeast pa) set in. Last night the temp dipped to about 7 degrees F. For the first time I noticed a boiling/bubbling sound coming from the indoor unit. Never noticed the noise last winter when temps dipped below 7 degrees F for weeks on end. The unit seems to be working as usual and maintaining a steady temp as well as pushing out nice warm air. No temp swings in the house. Should I be concerned by this noise? Is there something I should have checked out on the unit? The book says bubbling sound may be caused by wind blowing in condensate line. It wasn't windy last night and dead calm this morning when it was making the sound. Mitsubishi tech support women reiterated what the book said too. I always try to abide by the if it ain't broke don't fix/worry about it concept but I paid a decent chunk of change for it and have some concerns. I thank everyone in advance for any insight. Looking forward to hearing from you.
