Oh gosh... I am really sorry to hear that.

I have had the honor of kinda getting to know Dad, over many occasions of being at the same place at the same time...
Comfortech, other professional gatherings, and the couple of shoot-offs we have done recently.

I am really sorry for your loss Dad, it is like a part of our gut is ripped out.
In the midst of it, I am glad your lovely wife is no longer in pain and is in a better place... you will see her again on the other side.
In the following weeks and months, if there is anything the local HVAC community (or any of us individually) can do for you... please do not hesitate to post or PM...
You have done a HUGE service to our trade, we owe you and will gladly balance the scales as we can.

And THX to K-Fridge for posting... will see about donating to the org in the OP.

God bless you Dad... and hang in there... it is not the end of the world... it will pass...

    Prayers for you!

Hope to see you at Comfortech in Sept, if you make it.

    Hello everyone.

I feel you here and in our hearts and I can only thank you for being here. Words can't describe.

She's gone but we celebrate her life tomorrow not her death.

She made me promise not to grieve for too long and continue with my life. I made a deal with her that I would but she needed to fly and be free to stop the suffering. I was told to go sleep now and get some rest for my late night sitting with her so at 4:00 PM I turned in.

Carol passed @6:30 PM Wednesday without me at her side. Later that evening her sister later told me she didn't want to me see her die. Even with this in my mind and heart I can't stop the pain.

I can only imagine she is free and waiting.

    Bless you all....

    Dad out

    "She is FREE"

That is the part we remember... when it hurts.
(To love someone is to have THEIR best interest at heart.)

The other part... is you will see her again on the other side!

Hang in there Dad... we all love you!

That's the one idea that keeps me going. I get to see everyone again. I expect to get a three hour non-stop report. Julie likes to talk...

Yeah... and even though on this side you got tired of listening sometimes...

On the other side... it will be music to your ears!

If it were not for the other side... this side would not be worth as much as it is.

I wish I could find the perfect words to ease the pain you feel, but I am afraid those words do not exist. It is Irish tradition not to mourn her loss, but rather to celebrate her life. Think not of the time you will lose, instead feel blessed for the time you had. She can continue to live in you and your family's hearts.

I can only prey for your comfort at such a time Dad. I lost my sister to this and the only peace I have is knowing I'll see her again one day, God willing. My thoughts are with you Dad.
