The birth of this thread coincides perfectly with my decision to become a legal drug addict. My body continues to piss and moan from morning to night. Sometimes I hit the floor in the morning like I'm an eighty year old man...little tiny steps until the blood starts flowing. I'll catch sight of my reflection in quick stop windows limping and lumbering along. Occasionally I'll have to turn one of my feet inward like you see people with hip problems do. It's not a pretty site.

Through out the entire ordeal going back more than a year and a half, I've been reminded that various little white pills help immensely with my ability to not care. And it has greatly aided my ability as a tech in all areas: Attitude, perseverance, creative solutions, customer relations etc. The husband and wife are quibbling and crying upstairs because their heat exchanger is shot? The angry PIA customer who has a weird intermittent problem that no one can catch? One more "emergency" call that just came in and even the on call guy has been home for an hour? The seized blower in the impossibly tight attic with no wood across the ceiling joists, half hour or even forty minutes just to crawl back down have a discussion, get authorization for repair, set up etc. It ain't just my motor bag, slab of wood and the motor I go back to my truck for...Tramadol if it's morning, Vicodin in the PM, oxycontin if it's late morning into afternoon... and I just don't care. But it apparently has the opposite outwardly appearance. I get the best damn results and compliments when simply stoned and not really caring.

I've always resisted such things in the past and have strict rules about drinking; I haven't had a smoke in nine months and four days. Because obviously substance abuse can get in the way of the truly important things in life...like the morning sit down or marital duties in the bedroom. But guess what? They make drugs for that stuff too! All legal, zero concerns about drug tests. It's a freaking win win in a lose lose world.

I exaggerate somewhat...not that anyone really cared enough to read all this.

Funny thread, Dad. Thanks for not caring.
Is the Religious Right to blame for Christianity's decline?

They argued that, as the Religious Right became increasingly visible and militant, it became associated with Christianity itself. And if being a Christian meant being associated with the likes of Jerry Falwell, many people—especially political moderates and liberals—decided to simply stop identifying as Christians altogether.

I must admit, that can of IceCOLD-40 penetrating lube does work really good.

I wonder if Robinson Refrigeration and Aire Serv will also install reflective roof coatings as a compliment to IceCOLD?

Either way, I don't really care.

They're prolly in bed with eachother.

Add the percentages of the two snake oils together and your power meter will start to spin backwards.

I'm on call and it's supposed to get in the low 40s tonight for the first time. Probably have a few no heats and all my churches are going to want heat in the morning, gotta switch them over to heat. I don't care though, I'm drinking a sixer and watching my Clemson Tigers play some football.
