Contractor User ID?
If I'm looking for a contractor and use the map, is there a way to see who the user for that company is?
Looking at what they post could/would give some more information about them.
Thanks (not sure if this is the right place, but I couldn't PM Dad -site admin).

I suggest you contact the company directly. While I understand your strategy, it might not work directly. The AOP map was designed specifically not to do what you are asking for. The board member may be a junior employee or they might be the owner. They might not post much in the public areas.
Any which way, the board member in question is the only one that can tell you what their username is.
Best of luck.

I have had 5 calls now from this map and one was just the other day. only 2 worked out well. one unintentionally stuck it to me. but all but the one mentioned started out just looking for diy info.

many of us tried to help her. http://hvac-talk.com/vbb/search.php?searchid=37060341. the hx had a couple cracks and one was big. she had 13 techs out. there was not an old part on it. it even was rewired from the stat to the blower. 13 techs and not one pulled the f&l. and it was real cold. she was broke and was having a hard time getting help. I searched hard for countless hours to get her someone to help. finally got it for her and I lost the bid anyway. I told her if I didn't get the job we would bill her for the diagnostic but I never did. I doubt I would have got it and if I did, it wouldn't have felt right. I felt bad through the entire process. and she was like a hound, calling me 3, 4, times a day. sometimes more. I say "unintentional" because it wasn't her fault. I refused to do the job that low. this job is what inspired me to start an organization for people with heating needs. it's in attorney's hands right now.
