    German Chocolate Pound Cake

    GERMAN CHOCOLATE POUND CAKE (Icing In The Cake)




    l- (l8.25oz) German Chocolate Cake Mix

    l-(15oz) can Coconut-Pecan Frosting

    4 eggs

    l/2 cup oil

    l cup water



    Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour 12 cup tube or Bundt pan.



    Mix all ingredients (including the icing) in mixer at medium speed for 2 minutes. Pour into prepared pan

    and bake 55-60 minutes. Remove from oven to wire rack and allow cooling for 10 minutes. Invert

    onto serving plate and dust with powdered sugar.





    NOTE: This makes a large cake, be sure to use the large 12 cup pan.

    I love German choc cake. But some how I just don't get it being on here. Guess my perception is it would be all bar b que and stuff.

    But i still printed the recipe and now my wife is baking it. Man it smells good from here.

    PS my old lady has a killer Baklava recipe but won't give it up.
