I just found out today we have lost a treasure to our industry, Dieter Karmineke, who passed in March. Many in Metro Detroit knew him.
He supported me for many years, whenever a problem in the field went over my experience I could call Dieter and he would jump in. I called him today, and he wasn't there to help - I'm sure this irritated him also!
I will miss his gentle nature, he mentored many in our industry. I'm proud to count him among my friends. I will miss him.
God speed Dieter. I am honored to have known you.
