Rheem ruud are I’ve always felt fairly service friendly as in not too bad to work on. I don’t guess I really have a preference since they all have issues and all break at some point in time. If I had to pick it’d be rheem I reckon.

"Is this before or after you fired the parts cannon at it?" - senior tech
I'm tired of these mediocre "semi flammable" refrigerants. If we're going to do it let's do it right.
Unless we change direction we are likely to end up where we are going.
"It's not new, it's better than new!" Maru.
We have sold Heil exclusively for about 10 years now.
Started seeing a lot of evap coil leaks this summer on coils right at the 5 year old mark. Also change an occasional heat exchanger on the first furnaces we installed right around 10-11 years ago. Other than that, no complaints really.
We carry mostly Carrier, some Trane, and for vrf systems we do Daikin

bryant and amana
Rheem, Mitsubishi, and an occasional Coleman just to keep Twilly happy.
Heil mostly, the high end condensers are nice an solid, coils and air handlers are average. Wouldn’t put a Lennox in my house unless it was free and I was moving. Daikin is nothing to write home about.
Residential we sell Carrier, Goodman, Rheem, Mitsubishi Electric, very little Trane. Commercial we sell Carrier, Daiken, Trane, Mitsubishi Electric, York
Say "I just need a little Freon" one more time!
Been selling mostly York and a little Rheem/Ruud for a few years now. Use to sell Goodman until Daiken bought them out and started giving issues with warranties. Been happy with York but do wish they would go back to tube and fin coils, not a big fan of the micro channels.
A people who would exchange liberty for apparent safety, will deserve neither and lose both.
Tough Lennox got better air flow then any other brand
Back from Europe where A2l have burns many techs. I have the up coming changes for transportation of flammable and semi flammable refrigerants. Any one interested please email me.

Dave, Can you share btu example ? Trane vrs Lennox
Yes, I can and I know the road you are taking but, many factors of site, altitude, air flow, duct work, electrical avialable are culprits of brand issues. You can have them identical units next to each other and you will get a different result every time. You can take a mi I split and have 100 % comfort if all is as according to manufacturers specs. That it self is a unicorn.

Hello everyone!
If I had to pick it’d be rheem I reckon.
Most of you guys might do residential, I do commercial. For roof top unit's I only use Carrier. If I'm doing a wall pack package unit I use Bard. For Mini Split's which I hate, I use Carrier with a module so I can use a regular thermostat not the remote control one, that always gets lost. I have also installed Payne units.
I forgot to mention, I work for a School District.
I sell Bosch, Fujitsu, and Air Temp unitary equipment. I sell Bosch, Fujitsu, Air Temp, and Mr. Cool mini splits.
