SO, the bad braze leak was on the high side at the condenser connection.

That should about do it but I would suggest switching to changing it when you finish because that used oil contains moisture and possibly acid that will attack the valves and make the pump loose performance over time. Also the hot oil drains much quicker.

Its all in fun. I would keep it. I have had a couple braze joints leak from when I started and was still trying to listen to my boss on how to braze. I learned pretty quick that he wasn't that great at it himself.

There is no correlation between micron level and moisture volume.
It's more akin to a saturation pressure. You put gauges on a static system and if the pressure is at or above the pressure for the surrounding ambient - you know there is liquid refrigerant in the system - but you have no idea how much liquid refrigerant it is. Could be a pound or it could be a thousand pounds - the vapor pressure your gauge shows would be the same number in both cases.

Hypothetically, If I am pulling 1100 mics for days and I know that when I reach 1000 basically all moisture is gone, I would be safe to assume that 100 mics of moisture is in material, right?

This is bad practice in my opinion. You are changing the oil because of the possibility that is is bad. You do not want bad oil in your pump. Change the vacuum pump oil Before you put it away after each use and it will be stored with fresh oil in it - and it will be ready-to-go immediately next time.

FIGURE OUT the Microns
Micron level is just the gauge sensing the density of molecules in the environment. That correlation would be difficult to know. Also the total number of molecules in the system would be related to the system volume and the assumption that they’re equally distributed. So no it’s not really something that can be estimated, but it’s also not something that’s very important to know. Just focus on micron level and that’s all you need.

It's a piece of channel welded to the frame to make a box. Probably used as a tie down for trucking down the highway.
